Xio Morales-Vale

A dynamic and versatile performer with a background in theatre and live entertainment. With years of experience in performance, Xio has had the privilege of working in front of and behind the scenes in Puerto Rico’s vibrant performing arts scene, including her role as Gianna in WIPR’s En Casa Aprendo con Remi, winner of the 2000 OTI Award for best singer and composer.

She is also a vocalist, combining her love for music with live performances. Whether on stage or behind the curtain, she brings energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to delivering memorable experiences. Xio thrives in fast-paced environments, her quick-thinking skills help her excel in her roles and perform well under pressure. Morales-Vale attributes this skill to her many years of theatrical improv training with LIPIT (Liga Puertorriqueña de Improvisación Teatral).

With LIPIT she was able to debut in the prestigious theatre, Victoria Espinosa, in Puerto Rico. Forming part of LIPIT’s short and long format improv shows since 2017.

Xio showed an interest in singing, dancing, and acting at a very early age. When she turned sixteen she auditioned for a performing arts after-school program (2014) furthering her career and training by completing a Bachelors Degree in Theatre (2021) and a certificate in Musical Theatre (2023); all while traveling to countries like Colombia and Mexico to perform improvisational theatre.
